Christmas Stocking

Hello everyone
It's time for another challenge at
Scrap from Your Heart.

This month we have a theme of
Christmas !

For my card, I am using a digi stamp from Beccy's Place.  I used markers on the image and then inked faux stitching on the stocking using glitter gels.  I then blended Candied Apple distress ink from the edge towards the image.  I framed it with green cs.  The front panel is designer paper from Recollections.  I set the image on an angle and raised the entire image with dimensional tape. The sentiment was inked with Seedless Preserved distress ink and attached with dimensional tape as well.
I added green, purple and gold sequins and some clear crystal acrylic stones scattered about.
All was added to a cherry red side fold cs base.

I hope you have fun playing along with us.

The image was trimmed down and mounted on a piece of designer paper from DCWV.  I wrapped yellow and white twine around the bottom and mounted it on yellow cs side fold base.

Fall ThankYou

Hello everyone from
Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday.

The challenge this week is a sketch challenge - (see below for sketch) and a Theme of Thank You.

For my card, I started with white cs and I stamped the wheat image from Fiskars with Ground Espresso Distress Ink and then with clear embossing powder.  I then masked off the center of the card and blended Seedless Preserves, Candied Apple and Fossilized Amber.  The sentiment is on mustard yellow cs trimmed down and then corners rounded that I raised with dimensional tape.  I scattered clear acrylic stones about and then mounted everything on the same mustard yellow side fold cs base.

I hope you have fun playing along.
Here is the sketch for the challenge ....
