The Lady is a Bug ....

Loved loved loved playing with the water colors and the Fantastx Inks ... love that opal shine.  I stamped with my Inkdinkado winged stamp.  This time the lady bug.  Painting her in red water color.

I let her dry a bit since I had to do a retake on this one when the stamp ink smeared.  I wasn't as lucky as I was with the butterfly.  Oh well, lessons learned.  I then added the Champagne Ink over the red and let it burst into a pearl shine.  Love this stuff.

I cropped it down and cut some fun circles with my cricut using red card stock and then pierced all the tips by hand.  I added some black on black dotted paper, red dotted ribbon, a few white paper flowers  and pearls to complete the challenge.  Birthday card sentiment completes it for now.  Thanks for peeking.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:
Seize the Birthday: Sketch
Just us Girls: Tic/Tac/Toe = Pearls/Stamp/Pierce
Through the Purple Haze = Wings.

I'm going to add a close up of the lady bug to see if you can catch that opal shine of the ink.

The shine on the lady bug gives it such a realistic look! Love the black dotted background paper that coordinates, too!
