Birthday Bear

This is my team card for

Pattie's Creations.

The theme this month is Bears.

For my card, I'm working with the image Bear with Balloons. 
I printed the image on kraft card stock and then colored the image with colored pencils.   I die cut the balloons and sentiment tag and then edged them all with Antique Linen distress ink.  The birthday sentiment was stamped in Antique Linen and clear emboss powder and lifted with foam adhesive.   The wood grain paper is from DCWV and everything was set on a side fold kraft cs base.  I added buttons and Neuvo drops to the top.

Fall Anniversary

Hello Everyone

It's  an Autumn Challenge

at 

Through the Purple Haze

For my card, I blended Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin distress inks. 

I then used a Simon Says stencil 'Tumbling Leaves' and clear embossing powder.  I then blended Oxide Inks in Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint.  I trimmed it down with wavy stitched die from MFTs.  The sentiment was blended with Spiced Marigold and Fossilized Amber oxide ink.  The cream frame was cut with the same die set from MFTs.  Paper flowers from Recollections. All set on a top fold kraft cs base.

Hello I working on a new challenge at
Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday

This is a sketch challenge which I will post below with an optional theme of mixed patterns.

For my card, this is totally out of a Recollections pad including the sentiment so that everything matches.
Just trimming out pieces and matching the sketch and it's all done.  The additional dimensional butterfly is also from Recollections. 
All put on a side fold purple cs base with some added Neuvo drops.

Happy Halloween

Hello ... we working a new challenge at  IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE The cookie for this challenge is

For my card, I'm using an image from Dr, Digi, Lil Jason.  I used all markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it with Kraft CS.  The front panel spider web cs is from Recollections, a Halloween pad.  I inserted a piece of black cs between the Digi and the panel and used a white gel pen on the faux stitching.  The sentiment was colored with marker and then framed with black cs.  Everything was then added to a side fold black cs base.

Hello Everyone  -- Time for another challenge at  Try Stampin' or not on Tuesday. For this challenge we have a sketch:

For my card, I started with a Digi from Bugaboo and I used all markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it with black cs.  The background cs is from Recollections and the bottom maroon is just plain cs.  The ribbon I had in my stash as well as that puffy mylar heart.  That sheet is getting a lot of action lately.

Pumpkin Stack

Hello --It's an  ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE at Brown Sugar Challenge our sponsor this month is

For my card, I am using the image, Stacked Pumpkins.  I used markers and a water brush on the pumpkins.  For the card front, I blended Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Fired Brick, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans and Soot across the front.
Out of black card stock I cut using Lawn Fawn: the fence, using Penny Black: the tree and using MFTs: the stitched flag.  The sentiment was stamped in white embossing powder and a holiday stamp by Avery Elle.  The leaves were cut with a Spellbinders die 'foliage' out of scrap blended with Mustard Seed, Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint.  All set on a black cs front and then again on a black cs side fold base.  Spooooooky.

Owl Boo

This is my team card for

Pattie's Creations.

The theme this month is Halloween

I am using the image, 'owl silhouette'.  I masked off the owl and then I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Fired Brick, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distressed inks.  Using the die cut from MFTs, I cut the grass out of black cs.  The moon is a circle punch that I dipped a couple of times into Lawn Fawn glow in the dark embossing powder.  The multi dips gave it an awesome texture and I love that it glows.   The sentiment was edged with Wilted Violet distress ink.

Thinking of Fall

Hello, we have another challenge on the run at If YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE The inspiration cookies for this round are:

For my card, I started with a stamp and die set from Simon Says  - Ornate Leaves.   I stamped them in Crushed Olive, Salty Ocean and Carved Pumpkin.  I then added clear embossing powder to give them a bit of texture and shine.  The Y-O-U was cut multiple times out of kraft and stacked and then topped with embossing ink and clear embossing powder for a cool look like leather.  I stacked up all my leaves on a piece of texture green wood-grain paper from DCWV and added the sentiment and bakers twine along with a couple of acrylic gem stones.  All on top of a top fold kraft cs base.

From my card, I started with an image by Bugaboo that I used all markers on.  I then cut the frames apart and set them on a scrap piece of black cs.
The orange cs front panel was put through my machine with an embossing folder by .......
The sentiment was edged with mustard seed distress ink.  The image, framed in black, was lifted with dimension tape.
All was placed on a side fold black cs base.

For my card, I am using the image, Mail Box Kitties. The sentiment is also from Imaging that.  I used markers on the image. I cut a number of flags in different sizes from coordinating colored cs.  I framed the image in mint as well as the sentiment.  I added a bit of  'Wink of Stella' on the sentiment to give it just a wee bit of added pop.   The dotted paper is from Recollections.  Everything was added to a side fold dark pink cs base.

Hello Everyone,  It's time for a new challenge at IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER  A COOKIE The cookie inspiration for this challenge is

For my card, I found some pencil graphics and colored them with marker in the rainbow. I then cut the sentiment with a scallop circle by Sizzix and cut that almost in half.  I edged the scallop with all of the distressed inks of the rainbow.  The front panel is so cute by DCWV and is also Mylar (which the picture does not pick up) tons of shine.  I added a pink satin bow across the bottom and added a couple of acrylic gems.  All placed on a top fold black cs base.

Celebrate Fall

hello we have another challenge at  Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday. We're sporting another sketch challenge this round.

For my card, I started with kraft cs and I used a die from Penny Black to edge with a scallop daisy.  I then laid a piece of paper down the middle.  The sentiment was stamped with a clear stamp by ArtC and I used clear embossing powder   I wrapped the brown baker's twine around the bottom and added a gold puffy foil leaf piece and gold Neuvo Drops.  This was all added to a front panel of cs from DCWV and finished with a side fold kraft cs base

Hello I have a new card for the challenge at The Crafters Cafe The theme this round is school related or tea/coffee. and our sponsor for this round is and

For my card, I am using the image by Morgan's Art World and I used all markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it a couple of times.  The background mint dotted cs if from Core'dinations and has a great texture to it.  The scroll work, I have no idea where it came from.  I cleaned my craft room and found it on the bottom of a scrap box that was hiding for a very long time.  I would have to assume that it's a cricut cut from long ago.  The sentiment was edged and blended with cracked pistachio and hickory smoke distressed inks.  All was set on a mink cs side fold base.

Miss You

Hello, I have a card for USE YOUR STUFF CHALLENGE. The theme for this challenge is a Mood Board.

For my card, I'm using an image from Bugaboo.  I was immediately taken by that cute chocolate lab in the basket.  He so sweet.  I also pulled all of those warm colors and connected that with a piece of card stock from a new pad by Tim Holtz 'Abandoned'.    It is amazing.  The puppy was colored with maker and then again in water color.  Then I blended the edges with Vintage Photo distressed ink.  A burlap flower with a couple of smaller paper flowers and it's all good to go on a side fold kraft cs base.

Cardinal

Hello - We are playing with another challenge at Pattie's Creations This months theme is THINGS WITH WINGS.

For my card, I am using the image, Casa de Cardinal.   I used all marker on the image and then I blended Broken China distress ink in the background.   I cut a bunch of leaves from a Spellbinder dies set from scraps of white that I blended all of my green distress inks. I framed with graphic with a piece of kraft and maroon cs and I layered the leaves between the sandwich.   The front panel is a piece from DCWV texture pad.  I put everything on a side fold maroon cs base.  I added clear Neuvo drops between the leaves.

Hello ... We are in a new challenge at

Animal-friendly.

For my card, I'm using a BEAR image from Bugaboo and I used all color pencils on the image.  I cut the bear using a stitched oval die from MFTs.
The bees were stamped/die cut from another set by MFTs.  The horntooth paper is from recollections and a black ribbon divides the yellow cs with the paper.  The sentiment was cut with a flag die from MFTs and the paper flowers are from recollections.
All was set on a side fold black cs base.

Hello Everyone A new challenge is at play with  Creative Knockouts The theme this month is  FINISH THE INSIDE Our sponsor for this ride is

For my card, I am using the image, Derek Clapton.  I used all marker on the image.  The background paper is from Recollections and is a pad of all black and whites.  I used the same color markers on the background papers as well as the sentiment.  Everything was mounted onto a pale blue top fold cs base.  The same color blue buttons were added to the top corner.

 

For the inside of the card, I printed the sentiment and then edged the card stock with the coordinating distress ink.

Birthday Balloon

Hello  If you Give a Crafter a Cookie has another challenge and it's their 5th Anniversary  the cookie inspiration is

My card for this challenge, I started with paper from Recollections.  I used the large balloon die from the ballon set by Simon Says Stamp.  I stamped the birthday sentiment with a stamp from MFTs in Walnut Stain Distressed ink. The streamer pennants are stamped with a small set from Hampton Arts and stamped with Concord Oxide Ink.   This was all put onto yellow card stock front panel where I ran faux stitching with a pink glitter gel pen and added to a side fold pink cs base.  I added the bakers'
 twine and scattered sequins all over for the festivities.

Hello ... it's time for a new challenge at

Stinkin' Inkers
The theme for this month is a fancy fold card.

When I started this project, I was originally going with a Z fold with butterflies in blue and lavender.  My Muse had other plans and it changed totally.
The papers are all from a Recollections mini pad called Paddywack.  I started with an olive green base and it just went crazy from there. The owl stamps and dies are a set from MFTs. The scalloped half-circle is from Sizzix. The sentiment on the front is stamped with gold embossing powder.  The clear gemstones are from Lucy's Cards.  The paper flowers are from Recollections.

The inside of the card uses the same paper set from Recollections and the same stamp/die set from MFTs. I edged the sentiment tweets with coordinating distress inks.

Heart Song

Hello everyone,
It's a new challenge at
Try Stamping on Tuesday.

We have a double theme this round.
Sketch and or Tic Tac Toe
which I will post below.

For my card, I'm going with the center vertical row: Heart/Music/Glitter.
I started with heart paper from Recollections.  The notes I had in my stash and I framed it with red cs.  The two tail flags are from scraps as well from a glitter pad that I just love.  I don't remember the maker but I got the pad at JoAnn's.   I topped that with a thin strip of black printed washi tape and added a puffy gold heart sticker.  I mounted it all on a black top fold cs base.

For my card, I am using the image, Little Witch.   I used color pencils on the image.  I trimmed her down and edge with Vintage Photo distress ink.  I framed it with purple cs and the set it on a piece cs from a Halloween pad from Recollections.  I added a piece of glitter ribbon in purple and a bat sticker that was raised on dimensional squares.  That little bit of glitter is everywhere.  What was I thinking?  I added this to a side fold black cs base.

I stamped the sentiment with broken china distress ink and topped with clear embossing powder.  I added the puffy gold mylar leaves and heart that was in my stash.

Hello everyone, we have a brand new challenge at USE YOUR STUFF.

The theme for this challenge is sports.

I went with a play on golf terms for this card.

I used an image by Dr. Digi, Hole in  One Hal.  I use all sorts on this, markers, pencils and glitter gels.
I trimmed the image and framed it with dark purple cs.  The back front panel is lavender.  I added a paper piece of marbled purple from Recollections.  The number 4 was cut multiple times to make it stacked with my cricut.
The sentiment was made with my cricut and then flagged with a dark purple cs piece.

All set on a side fold dark purple cs base.

I next too a piece of kraft cs to use as a frame for the image but first used a floral stamp and clear embossing powder on it.   I tied the brown and white bakers twine around the bottom.  The front panel is from DCWV and has printed texture.  All was added to side fold kraft cs base with added clear Neuvo drops to the corners.
