Cinderella



Hello everyone ... here's to another challenge at Creative Knockouts 

The theme is Anything Goes ... so let's go and get crafty.

The sponsor for this challenge is StarStampz and the image that I have used on this challenge is
Cinderella.
I used colored pencils and gel pens on the image.  The picture doesn't give you the sparkle of her bodice and headband and the tops of the castle.  It was cut with a oval stitched die by My Favorite Things.  The dotted paper is by DCWV and was cut with a fancy edge die by Penny Black.

The sentiment is by Happy Little Stampers stamped with Walnut Stain distressed ink and then I added paper flowers and crystal drops.

Fa La La La La



Welcome friends to the December challenge at
Scrap from your Heart.
This month the challenge is coloring.

I am using a digi stamp from Bugaboo that I used both pencils and markers.

I framed the image with green cs and then mounted it on a green card base with an added sheet of designer paper from Recollections.

I added a small bow tied from bakers twine into the corner to finish it off.

celebrate


Welcome to the challenge at
Try Stamping or not on Tuesday
We have a sketch challenge this round as well as  a theme of 'CELEBRATE'.
I will have the sketch below.
For my card, I started with a Darice embossing folder with the word celebrate and some dark purple cs.  Next, I have some printed paper from Recollections.
The sentiment is on a lavender cs with a stamp also by Recollections using gold embossing powder.
All of this mounted onto a lighter shade of lavender cs top fold base with the corners rounder with a chopper.

Gingerina






Hello everyone and welcome to another 
Brown Sugar Challenge

The theme this month is 
December Holidays and Celebrations.

Our sponsor this month is 


For my card, I am using Gingerina and I used colored pencils on the image with a touch of marker on the hearts to bring them out a bit.   Trimmed down and rounded the corners and mounted on a red cs frame.  I added red faux stitching and a couple of small gold mylar hearts. 
The paper front is from a Recollections holiday pad and I wrapped red and white bakers twin along the left edge and rounded the corners.  The sentiment was edged in vintage photo distress ink and added with dimensional squares to pop it up a bit. 
All mounted onto a kraft cs side fold base.

Doggie Christmas



Hello Everyone, this is my design team
contribution for

The Theme this month is
Winter or Christmas

The digi stamp is "It's Empty"
from Pattie's Creations and the tree I had in my stash so long it's not cataloged.  
I colored the pup and the tree all in colored pencils.  The ornaments are all Neuvo drops.  The sentiment is from Hampton Arts and is stamped in Pine Needles distressed ink and clear embossing powder.  I cut the image down to size and edged the entire piece with Vintage Photo distress and then onto a Kraft cs front.  All of this on a Pine Green top fold cs base.

Vintage Christmas



Hello Everyone
Welcome to another fun challenge at
the theme this month 
Christmas
Shabby Chic/Vintage


For my card, I started with the image where I layered the picture and the text.  I colored it with markers.  I cut the frame in red cs and then in white cs where I used a Martha Steward dotted scallop edge punch.  The paper is from Recollections that I bought last year post holiday on an amazing sale and the pad has just been waiting patiently to be pulled from the shelf.  I wrapped red dotted ribbon around the front panel and then mounted everything onto a green top fold cs base.  I dropped some assorted sized red sequins in the corners and then dropped some silver Stickles into the centers.

Christmas Presents


Hello Everyone ..... 
It's time to flip the calendar once again and it's time for a new challenge at 
 The Crafter's Cafe. 

The theme this month is to use Lace or Christmas 
The sponsors this month are...... 

Paper Nest Dolls 
 and 
Creative Bug on the Loose.

For my card, I am using a image from Creative Bug on the Loose called Bear with Presents.


I used marker and glitter gel pens on the image.  Trimmed and framed with red card stock.  The card front is printed paper from a Recollections holiday pad. 
I wrapped dotted red and white ribbon with a bow around the side.  All mounted on a red top fold cs base.
After it was put together, I added neuvo drops for the ornaments in various colors.

Unicorn Christmas





Hello Everyone
A new month and a new challenge here at
and ANYTHING GOES! 
Our sponsor this month is one of my favorites




For my card, I am using Santa Baby Unicorn and I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I masked off the bottom and blended cracked pistachio, wilted lavender and spun sugar distress inks.  I mounted that onto a piece of pink and white striped paper from DCWV that was in my scrap box.  I then put that onto a piece of pink and pink dotted glitter paper that was in my scrap as well.  I have no idea what pad that is from it's been in there so long. 
All of this was added onto a hot pink side fold cs base. 
I added white puff onto the hat and ball.

Candy Elves

For my cookie card, I am using Elf Cane and I colored it with markers.   I trimmed it down and framed it with red cs.   Tied red and white bakers twine around the bottom.

The printed paper is from a holiday pad from Recollections. 
All mounted onto a red side fold cs base.
I added various sized crystal stones and clear Neuvo drops all around.

our theme for this run is to use 
your favorite color combination.

For my card, my fav color combination would be blue. Blue is my signature color.
The image I am using is  Candy Elf C. 
I only used colored pencils on the image.  I then cut the image and framed it with a blue cs using a stitched die set by My Favorite Things.  The printed paper is from Recollections (one of my favorites in their collection).  The flagged sentiment was edged in Tumbled Glass distress ink.
I mounted it all onto a pale blue side fold cs base then added Neuvo Drops in Robins Egg blue.

Holiday Bling




Hello everyone from 
Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday.  

The challenge this week is a sketch challenge (see below for sketch) and the theme is
Holiday Bling and Glitz.

For my card, I started with a Santa image that I had and I cut it with MFT scalloped circle die.  I cut a larger scalloped circle out of white cs to frame our Santa.  I then grabbed a bit of green and white glitter card stock from my Christmas pad.  I then cut some red vellum on a diagonal to match the sketch.  I added the sentiment with dimensional squares and more glitter snow flakes and sequins about to bling it up more.  All of this added to a side fold green cs base.

Ho Ho Ho.

Winter Westie


Hello everyone ....
It's time for another cookie challenge at
"If you Give a Crafter a Cookie"

Here is the cookie for this challenge




The sponsor for this challenge is and I am using The Winter Westie and I used both markers, colored pencils and distress ink on the image.  The scarf was done in marker.  The Westie was done in pencils of different grays to blend the fur and the background was sponged in Cracked Pistachio.  It was framed with black cs that I used a Martha Steward edge punch for the scalloped edge and then framed again teal cs.  The front panel is gold mylar from DCWV that I absolutely love.   The sentiment is from MFT and stamped in gold embossing powder on teal cs and trimmed to fit the front panel.  All of this was added onto a blue cs side fold base.

Gift Card Envelope



Hello everyone
I have an amazing challenge for you from
The Crafters Cafe Challenge.

This challenge the theme is to make an envelope


The sponsor for this challenge is 
My Stitch in Twine. 


For my card, I'm using  Gingerbread Girl.
I colored her in both marker, colored pencils and glitter gels.
I trimmed is down to the very edge of the digi.
I dry embossed with a basket weave folder and then folded it down to accept the tag with the gift card attached.  I cut the curve at the top with a 1 1/2 inch hole punch.
The tag was blended in a bunch of rainbow colors of distress inks and the 4 U was added by hand.

I added the ribbon to make it easier to pull the tag from the envelope.

Christmas Stocking


Hello everyone
It's time for another challenge at
Scrap from Your Heart.

This month we have a theme of
Christmas !

For my card, I am using a digi stamp from Beccy's Place.  I used markers on the image and then inked faux stitching on the stocking using glitter gels.  I then blended Candied Apple distress ink from the edge towards the image.  I framed it with green cs.  The front panel is designer paper from Recollections.  I set the image on an angle and raised the entire image with dimensional tape. The sentiment was inked with Seedless Preserved distress ink and attached with dimensional tape as well.
I added green, purple and gold sequins and some clear crystal acrylic stones scattered about.
All was added to a cherry red side fold cs base.

For my card, I used Smiley Snowman.  I used markers and colored pencils on the image.  The background was a Tim Holtz stencil with Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed distress inks. 
The sentiment is the first line from 'Simple Gifts' by Joseph Brackett.  
The image was trimmed down and mounted on a piece of designer paper from DCWV.  I wrapped yellow and white twine around the bottom and mounted it on yellow cs side fold base.

Fall ThankYou




Hello everyone from 
Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday.  

The challenge this week is a sketch challenge - (see below for sketch) and a Theme of Thank You.

For my card, I started with white cs and I stamped the wheat image from Fiskars with Ground Espresso Distress Ink and then with clear embossing powder.  I then masked off the center of the card and blended Seedless Preserves, Candied Apple and Fossilized Amber.  The sentiment is on mustard yellow cs trimmed down and then corners rounded that I raised with dimensional tape.  I scattered clear acrylic stones about and then mounted everything on the same mustard yellow side fold cs base.

Happy Anniversary



Hello Everyone.
It's time for another fun challenge at
 Stinkin' Inkers.
The theme this month is
FOR THE FUN OF IT
for a special occasion, just a note, etc.

For my card, I started with a digi stamp by Beccy's Place and I used all markers on the image.
I then cut it with a round die by Simon Says and then cut a larger one by Simon Says with a scallop in pale yellow cs.
I cut yellow polka dot cs from DCWV for the front panel and then put everything together.  I added paper flowers, a bow and some clear crystals to the corners.
All of this was added to a pale yellow top fold cs base.

For my card, I started with the image 'Sunflowers; and used color pencil on the image.  I then cut it with a stitched oval die from My Favorite Things and then edged it with mustard seed distressed ink.  I mounted that onto a printed front panel with paper from Recollections.  I added that blue sheer ribbon, paper flowers and Neuvo Drops into the corners.
All added onto a side fold pale yellow cs base.

For my card, I started with the image and I used colored pencils so I could blend the colors of the wings.  I trimmed it down and framed it with navy blue cs.  I found a piece of blue and white plaid DCWV in my box and trimmed that as well.  I added the image and some Neuvo drops is robin egg blue around the image.  All on a navy blue top fold cs base.

Fall Leaves



Hello Everyone
Welcome to another fun challenge at
the theme this month 
Everything Fall


For my card, I started with white cs and a handful of distress inks.  Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Antique Linen, Ground Espresso and Old Paper.  I smudged and flicked - smudged and flicked.
I then stamped leaves from Simon Says in Peeled Paint and Walnut Stain on kraft cs and then cut them using the coordinating dies for the set.
The sentiment was also from the same set stamped in Walnut Stain and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I mounted it onto a side fold kraft cs base.  I added a bakers twine bow onto the large leaf and then crystal acrylic drops scattered about.

For my card, I am using the image 'cute couple' and I used watercolor on the image giving the fur a bit of texture. I then took a piece of white cs and used a Spellbinders heart die and then ran it through with a swirl embossing folder and then raised it with dimensional tape.
A piece of pale green vellum with a Tim Holtz stamp sentiment and then a couldn't resist a little pale blue bow to finish it off.

For my card, I am working with a Bugaboo Digi: Rock Star.  I used markers on the image.  I framed it with lime green cs.  The background papers are from DCWV.  The stars were cut with my cricut and a fiskars star punch.  I used both clear stones in different sizes, glossy accents and wink of stella on the stars to bling them up.
This was all set on a lime green cs side fold base.

Halloween Monsters


Hello everyone from 
Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday.

The challenge this week is a sketch challenge - see below with cozy patterns.

For my card, I started with a digi stamp from Bugaboo and I colored with pencils.  The 2 pattern papers are from DCWV and attached to a black cs front.  The spider web was cut from a scrap piece of Recollections halloween pad with a scalloped round die from Sizzix.  The digi was framed with purple cs.  All was attached to a purple side fold cs base.  A couple of lime green neuvo drops under the graphic to complete sketch.

Mummy

For my card, I started with white cs and smooshed carved pumpkin, wilted violet, twisted citron distress inks.  The image is 'Dressed for Mummy' and I used both markers and colored pencils on the image.  I edged it wit carved pumpkin distress ink and then framed it with lime and lavender card stock.  I cut the spider webs with a die from Recollections and set in on a black side fold cs base.  I scattered lime green Neuvo drops as well.

For my card, I used color pencils for the image.  I then blended Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade from the edges to the center.
