Dragonflies

Focusing on two challenges at once - Freshly Made Sketches and the Color Throwdown.  I started with white card stock and smudged mermaid lagoon and cracked pistachio distressed ink.  I then stamped the dragonflies.  On another piece of white I cut the diamonds as per sketch requirements.  I stamped the sentiment and heat set that with Gold embossing powder and then added the gold ribbon.  I set the cut piece onto the smudged piece with dimensional tape and then onto a white card base.

I'd really like to add this card to the following challenges:
Four Crafty Chicks = l  #291ess is more.
Addicted to Stamps and More = anything goes !

Thank you for looking.
Here's to an amazing day!!

Happy Birthday guys.

Using Tuesday Morning Sketches as inspiration, this card has multiple layers.   Starting with Kraft, I ink edged that with walnut stain.  I then cut beige card stock and a patterned piece as per sketch-fixed the two together and edged that with vintage photo. I the glued the paper piece onto the Kraft added a dotted hemp ribbon.  Using beige card stock again, I cut the oval with my circuit machine ( school house cartridge)  and stamped the sentiment in Gold embossing powder.   All was the mounted onto a Kraft card base with the corners rounded with my corner chopper.

I'd like to add this card to the following challenges:

Coffee, Chocolate and Cards = #105 use ribbon.

Thank you everyone and have an amazing day!!
Thank you for peeking.

THANK YOU FOR THE RECOGNITION!!

Butterflies

Focusing on Fusion's challenge with this card.  I used two color paint chips in shades of green for a full umbre of color.  I popped a handful of mini butterflies from each shade.  Using the sketch as a guide, I glued the on the diagonal.  I added glossy accents onto the butterflies to make them shin.  I stamped the sentiment with green StayzOn ink.  This was all mounted onto a white card base.
I'd like to add this cards to the following challenges:

Get creative = use green.

Thank you everyone ... and have an amazing day!!

Happy Spring to all !!

Good Luck Flowers

This is for a gal at work who I just found out is leaving this week.
Using the sketch from Mojo Monday, I used black card stock and mounted the ribbon and then the two flower side pieces.  I then stamped and heat set the sentiment and cut the circle attaching with dimensional tape.  Quick note and hugs and it's already under way in the post this morning.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

MOJO Monday = Sketch # 440

Tuesday Throwdown = Color Pallet

Fab and Funky = #297 using Flowers.

Card Concept = Pink ... Using the style, Clean and Layered

Thank you so very much.  Have a fantaboulous day!

A bit of denim

Following the sketch in the challenge for CASe This Sketch.  This card is all white card stock with the exception of the denim paper which I cut a strip and then edged with two different edgers.
From the same paper I cut the 'big hugs' using Simon Says die.
Tied it all together with a white ribbon.

I'd like to add this card to:
CASe  this Sketch - Sketch number 164

Creative Corner = use all white and only one color.

Thank you very much
Have a great day and thanks for taking a peek!

DoodleBow

This started out as a stamp piece that transformed.  Originally I was using a stamp set and then got caught on the phone for a while and started googling then I started to scribble on my paper.  Suddenly "light bulb"   I ran out at lunch and grabbed a small water color pad.  When I got back, I doodled the same I had before on this on this piece with pencil. I then took a fine tip  sharpie and went over the pencil.

I brought it home - cleaned up the pencil and whipped out the water colors.
I trimmed it down, mounted it in black to frame it with dimensional tap and adhered to white card stock.  The blue pearls I've had forever - they are so old I had a hard time getting them off the package.  They're Queen&Co.  Fast and fun.

I'm going to attempt to do this on my phone again.  I haven't had the best of luck - keeping my fingers crossed. I'll have to fix my typos later.  Lol.  I have no idea what this post is going to look like - there is no preview - so let's just jump into the deep end shall we.

I would like to add this to the following challenges if I can figure it out on this thing:
CASology: Doodle   (FIXED)
Curtain Call : Rainbow (I'll have to figure out how to grab that inspiration piece) used a screen shot but it's huge.  It'll have to do for now πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜³πŸ˜œ
