Be Happy ...

This is my design team card for Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday.  The theme is summer splendor and the sketch is down below.

I started with a small piece of card stock and smudged Spiced Marmalade, Broken China, Wilted Violet and Peeled Paint.  Once that was dry I stamped the sentiment with black StazOn.   Cut that down to match the sketch.

Using pink, purple and teal card stock I formed the sketch.  I ran the pink flag through the cuttlebug with a swiss dot folder.
I cut a piece of designer paper from Recollections in orange and white for the background and adhered the entire piece with dimensional tape onto a darker pink cs top fold base.
A few violet sequins bling here and there to give it a bit of shine.

BaDaBing.

Here is the sketch for the week.

Good golly it's good to be back having fun.
Thanks for peeking ...
Have a great week !!

Thinking

A very simple CAS card.  I love this technique ... I masked off the bottom sections and  I used a fiskers stamp ( Petals from Scratch) and repeated it all around.   I used a white crayon to color in the petals.  I then smudged peeled paint, broken china and marmalade onto the stamped area.  Rub over the crayon to remove any color that may have covered the petals.  I used a Hampton Arts rubber stamp with gold embossing powder and then I used a gold mylar edge sticker to divide the color with the cream.

I would love to add this card to the following challenges if I may:
CAS on Sunday = Repetitive Stamping.
Watercooler Wednesday - ATG
QKR Stampede Challenge - ATG
Simon Says - ATG
Outlawz - CAS Sunday.

Thank you again for stopping by.
Wishing you all a wonderful day !!!!

Adventures

This card was a bit of an adventure .... I started with Kraft CS.  I cut the printed velum to go over the kraft.  Using the rustic printed paper, I cut that using a curved stitched die for the side panel.  I love the hinges that I used for this card- another die and I covered them in glossy accents.   The stamp is from Fiskars and I used Black StazOn right on the velum.

All of this adhered onto a cream top fold CS base.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may.
Addicted to Stamps = Clean and Simple
CASual Friday = use printed paper.  (side panel and velum)
Just Us Girls = Die Cuts
Sweet Stampin' = Masculine
Simon Says Monday = Masculine

Thanks for stopping by ... feel free to comment.
Have a great day

Pawsome

I was working with a sketch for this card ... the sketch is from  the House that Stamps Built.
Using bone cs I stamped the puppy and used color pencils.  I cut the ovals with stacking dies.  The printed paper is from Recollections.  The stamp set is from Simon Says Stamps.  The brads are actually from an ordinary hole punch where I punched a bunch/stacked them/ glue them and then used Glossy Accents on top to dome them and give them shine.

Here is the sketch ...

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

The House that Stamps Built - Sketch
Through the Purple Haze = Animals
Shopping Our Stash = Your sweet
Simon Says Wednesday = ATG

Thank you so very much for peeking.  I feels so good to be back at it again.
Have a great day !!

Hello from the design team  at the
Brown Sugar Challenge.
The theme this week is
  Celebrations
and our sponsor this week is
love love love her graphics
love her new website

I love this image ... she is just so adorable.  The colors represent the school colors that this will be used for.   I used colored pencils and blended using Vaseline.  I also used silver glitter stickles to outline the graduation garb and the stars.  The frame was hand cut and then I ran it through my cuttlebug with a polka dot folder.
So sweet and so much fun

I hope you have fun playing along.

Thanks for stopping by ...

Have a great day.
