Hello everyone from the design team
This week we have a sketch challenge for you
challenge for you (see sketch below)
with a theme of Family Fun

For my card I started with designer paper by recollections.  I then hand cut the ears and set that aside.  The HB and the flag was stamped on pale yellow card stock and then hand cut as well and attached with foam squares to lift it up.
The front panel was cut with lavender cs and then run through the machine with a fancy tile folder by Darice.
I mounted everything together onto a top fold black cs base.
Mickey always = family fun

Birthday Snuggles

Hello Everyone ....

Happy Thursday.  We have another fun challenge at Creative Knockout Challenges.
The challenge this week ( #260)  is to use twine in your creation.

For my card, I used an image by Mari Ko Creations.  I used colored pencils and markers on the image.  Before coloring, I masked off the image and stamped clouds with a cloud set by Neat and Tangled with white embossing powder.
I then blended distress in in Tumbled Glass and Broken China.
I mounted the piece onto light blue front panel and then added a small scrap of heart paper by MFT.   I inked faux stitches on the edge with white gel pen
Blue and white bakers twine bowed across the bottom and clear crystal stones dropped about in the sky.
All of this is mounted on a white side fold cs base.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful crafting day

Fishin' wishin'

Hello everyone from

our cookie for this challenge is

Our sponsor for the fortnight is one of my favorites:

For my card, I started with the image on white card stock.  I used both markers and colored pencils on the image.  The sentiment is computer font.  I trimmed it down and framed it with dark steal cs.  I had a piece of printed paper with fishing lures and tackle that was just enough for the entire front.   I tilted the image and then trimmed the corners to fit.
I added the green glitter acrylic gems in the corners.  All of this is on a kraft cs side fold base.

I hope you have fun fishin' along with us and I wish you all the best in the challenge win.

Happy crafting

Dawn.

I mounted the image onto the embossed front and then added a gold heart sticker from Pink Fresh.  A green satin ribbon and bow around the bottom which was then anchored onto the same green top fold cs base.

its your day

For this card, I started with my (favorite) last piece of card stock by DCWV.  I just love the tones of lavender.  I'm really sad that it's my last piece too.   I'll have to put the pad on my Christmas list.  The sentiment was inked with spun sugar and abandoned coral. I then framed it with lavender and salmon cs scraps.  Mounted on a dark lavender side fold base.  Adorned with so many pink, salmon and pale yellow flowers across the bottom.

For my addition to the design team work, I chose "Mermaid Crossing".  I colored the tail in marker and Kaisercraft glitter gel pens.  I love them.  I love them alot.
First I brushed with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and my water brush.  Then I used a Kaisercraft ripple stencil and blended and blended with distress inks: Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers moving the stencil with each color change.   Then I set that to the side for a bit to dry fully.
The Frame was cut from periwinkle cs using a MFT rectangle die and then I ran that through with a swirled embossing folder by Cuttlebug.   The large seashell is also from Pattie's Creations "Sea Shell Border #2".  I colored that with only colored pencils.   The sentiment was edged in Shaded Lilac distress ink and then added with foam dots.  I added pale blue Neuvo dots over and under the sentiment.
All of this was added to a navy blue cs side fold base.

Up and Away

Hello Everyone, this is my design team
contribution for
The Theme this month is
Anything Goes

The digi stamp is "Hot Air Balloon"
 from Pattie's Creations.

For my card, I colored the image with colored pencils and then topped various sections of the balloon with a Wink of Stella.  I then fussy cut the balloon out.
The background was created by stamping clouds by Neat and Tangled with embossing ink and white embossing powder.  I then smudged Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass distress ink and let that dry. Then smudged Broken China oxide in on top of that and wiped off any ink on the clouds.
From black card stock I cut the frame using MFT rectangle die.
The ribbon banner was stamped and fussy cut on maroon cs and then entirely covered in clear embossing ink and powder for a glossy finish.
Everything was layered on a maroon side fold cs base.  The banner was added with dimensional squares so that it floats on the balloon.  With the glitter and shine it's so much fun !!
I hope you play along with us at Pattie's Creations and I wish you all the best of luck !!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

HB Stripes

Hello everyone,

has a new Technique Challenge for you
this month they are showcasing ways to give your work dimension.

Donna did a great job showing multiple ways to try.  You can see it all here.

For my card, I cut the letters with my cricut multiple times (one from the printed stock and the others from lavender card stock) and stacked the letters to raise it from the base using Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  That beautiful striped purple and gold mylar is by DCWV (you can see it reflect off the table top).

The birthday was stamped and then colored with purple marker, edged with Wilted Violet distress ink and then framed with purple cs and attached with dimensional squares.  I added everything to a lavender top fold cs base and then added clear gems scattered.

I hope you have fun playing along.
