Celebrate

As we flip the calendar, it's time for a new challenges for the month.
This one is for Pattie's Creations.
The theme is
WEDDINGS

For my card, I started with the image "Pumps with Flowers"   I used a silver color pencil and navy marker on the shoes and then gave it a couple of coats of WinkOfStella to really make them sparkle (the photo doesn't do it justice - they are really glitzy).
For the champagne glasses, I grabbed a piece of white scrap and stamped a floral background stamp from MFTs and white embossing powder.  I then used the die from MFTs to cut the pair of glasses and masked off the stems and blended Antique Linen distress ink on the glass part.  The background paper is from a Tim Holtz pad.  The celebrate is stamped with a Hampton Arts stamp with Faded Jeans distress in and topped with clear embossing powder. The paper was anchored onto a sand color cs front that was anchored onto cream side fold cs base.  I added various sized bubbles from the glass using clear neuvo drops.

I hope you have fun playing along with all our wedding bliss and I wish you the best of luck.

For the guys

It's time for another challenge at
THROUGH THE PURPLE HAZE
This months challenge theme is
"THE GUYS HAVE IT"

For my card, I started with my scrap box and pulled a bunch of pieces that I cut into squares.  I then found a larger piece and die cut the curved stitched piece.  I arranged it all on a piece of grey cs front panel.  The sentiment was originally going to be a shaker but I didn't have supplies for shaker .. so onward on ... I cut the sentiment was stamped on cream cs and then die cut with the MFTs Shaker window and frame and called it at that.
The second sentiment was also stamped on cream cs and trimmed down and framed with a MFTs stitched flag die.
All was then set on a kraft side fold base with added neuvo drops in both gold and clear.

I hope you have fun playing along.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cameo

Hello Everyone!!
There's a fresh new challenge at
The Crafter's Cafe

The theme for this round is
Girls/Ladies and/or Embossing

and we have two sponsors for this challenge.

For my card, I am using an image from Morgan's Artworld 'Cameo 6'.  I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I then cut the image using a Sizzix scalloped circle stacked die and cut a larger frame in dark brown cs.  I brushed the edges of the image with Vintage Photo distress ink.
Using brown paper I clear embossed a background stamp and then cut the edge with a fun pair of very old Fiskers scissors.  I'm having fun pulling them from the back of the cabinet.  I then cut another piece of white scrap to give the brown paper a bit of focus.  The background paper is from Core Dimensions.   The sentiment is a wood stamp from Hampton Arts and is stamped in Walnut Stain distress with added clear embossing powder cut down to a flag.  I added rose gold brads to the corners and then mounted the whole piece onto a kraft side fold cs base.  A couple of added blue flowers and cream NeuvoDrops and it's ready to go.

I hope you have fun playing along with us and I wish you all the best of luck in the challenge.
