Flamingo Kisses

Another card for today.   This is a flamingo cutie.  I am hitting my stash hard today and pulling out items I haven't used in a long time.  I'm starting with a white cs base. I used a printed paper from a Recollections pad in pink.  The flamingos are by LePetite Market.  I used my Ohuhu markers to color them.  I die cut the flamings with a MFT stitched stacked oval set.  I stamped the heart with MFT Heart Art stamp with Picked Raspberry Oxide Ink and then used clear embossing powder over that to give it shine.  I used the corresponding die set by MFT - Heart Trio to cut.  I used the extra hearts to stack it a bit and lift it up off the card along with dimension tape.  I used another stack of rectangles by MFT to cut the piece behind the flamingos.   The sentiment was stamped in the corner of the paper with black soot distress ink and embossing powder with a stamp by Simon Says Stamp - just miss you set.  I stacked everything up on a white cs base.  Added sequins and neuvo drops in bubblegum pink.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may.

Animal Friends - Flamingo
Daisy Chain - Cute Animal
Outlaw Fri - Thinking of You

This started with a bit of water coloring ... blending the primary colors.  I cut it down to fit on the A2 card front in navy blue.  The die-cut and stamp is from Waffle Flower cut in navy blue and pink cs and stamped with black soot distress ink. I added some sequins and neuvo drops in bubblegum pink.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

QKR - ATG
As you Like it - Favorite tip watercolor is so fun because of the way the color moves and dries.
Stamping Sensations - I Love .... Rainbows and water coloring

Eagle Congrats

My hubby went into my card box for an Eagle card and I was out.  Good grief .. I needed to get busy.  I went with white cs for the base.  The front is navy blue with a white topper. I haven't used this die in a long time and I totally forgot that it was a shaker die and the stitching was on the outside so I had to regroup.  I grabbed a piece of scrap and used all of my red distress inks and smushed them on my worksheet with water and dragged the scrap into the ink.  I set it behind the die-cut windows.  The eagle badge is computer-generated and fussy cut.  The 'congrats' was stamped with a Recollections stamp set.  It was crazy that that was the only one I could find in my stash at this time. I used white embossing powder.   I set it all together with dimension tape.  I think I need to make a couple more for my stock.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

Dog Days are fun

Continuing with my card frenzies .. it feels good to get my fingers sticky again.  This birthday card is for a little boy.  The stamp and die set I have had forever from MFThings.  I'm using a couple of challenges for the inspiration on this one ... the color choice is one.  I cut the cs into strips and used a Darice embossing folder to create the brick emboss.  The sentiment - from Waffle Flower,  was stamped with black soot distress ink because that was the only black I could get my hands on right now.  I also used clear embossing powder on the sentiment to lift it a bit from the paper.  The doggie stamp was colored with my  Tombow markers.  All of this fun is on a white cs base.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

Fusion - using just the sketch
Color Throwdown - #648 - Orange, Pink, Green, Purple
Outlaws - Emboss
Time Out -Bright stripe colors

Braided Butterfly

I saw this challenge with 'The Butterfly Challenge' and thought it would be fun to try something new with this braided edge.  I had some two-tone Recollections cs, pink on one side and lavender on the other.  The lavender and blue paper on the front is from Recollections as well.   I cut the long piece out of a piece of scrap and rounded the two corners.  The butterflies are from Simon Says Stamp  - The Devonshire Butterfly and the Pauling Butterfly dies.  The sentiment is also a die from SSS ... You're Amazing which I think was a gift from SSS.  I added a bit of Wink of Stella on the top butterfly to shine it up.  I added the peach Neuvo drops and white gel pen stitching.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may.

The Butterfly challenge for the inspiration - hitting all of the items with P, Plaited fold, periwinkle, peach, plum, pair of butterflies
