Eat Drink

This was something I've had forever and never used - two fold.  One is the cartridge and Two is this embossing powder.
The cut is completely from the cartridge 'holiday cards'  The embossing powder I stumbled on this morning from my stash where I thought it was white snow ... but turned out to be iridescent  - which must have been in there so long I had no idea I had it and was shocked to see the beautiful butterfly I embossed this morning on black card stock (where I thought it was going to be white).
So I cut this on green card stock and decided that it needed a bit more to it and added the iridescent to it.  I punched a small clover and topped that with glossy accents.
Who'd a thunk??

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may ......

Fantabulous Cricut = St. Patrick's Day

Habiscus

This card is for a great sketch on Try Stamping (or Not) on Tuesday with an optional theme of 'ANGLES'.  I have to admit, the black paper with the diagonal lines was driving me loopy.  The paper is from American Craft Paper.
The center of the diagonal is a stamped image from a bargain box mounted find that I stamped randomly on white cs with Black StazOn.  I colored the flower petals with white crayon and then sponged Fired Brick ink over the piece where there is a color resist.  One of my favorite -- yet simple -- techniques.
The black and white strip paper is from a holiday Valentine pad from American Craft that I had in my stuffs from a few years back.
The sentiment was stamped with Fired Brick on white CS and clear embossing powder and then mounted with two metal daisy brads - that I absolutely forgot that I had a whole bunch of.
All of this on a red card stock side fold base.

This is the sketch for this week

I hope you have fun playing along with this challenge.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Celebrating pastels ......

This card is using the sketch from SugarPea Design Challenge for the month of March
Going with the purple once again .. this is a top fold card base.
Starting with lavender cs, I put that through my cuttlebug with a small dotted folder from Cuttlebug.
With a lighter shade of lavender, I also ran that through with a new 'celebration' folder Darice. It's a little bit longer than my card size and I had to cut it down.
I found a small piece of printed paper with lots of flowers (I honestly can't remember the vendor, it's been in my scrap box forever) that I cut with a nested circle die and put that on top of the same lavender as the 'celebrate'.
From a small piece of magenta cs I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder using a stamp set from Tim Holtz.

BaDaBing ....

Baby Baby Baby

Here is a sketch challenge by Fusion.  I started with grey cs and ran that through my Cuttlebug with a folder by Cuttlebug with random alphas on it.  I found a printed grey and blue paint paper in my stash which is from Recollections.  The stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and I used black StazOn with clear embossing powder to give it some shine.  I cut that down and arranged it all to go with the sketch then added two paper flowers.

Greenish ........

This is for a sketch for Watercooler Wednesday,  Starting with white cs, I ran it through my cuttlebug with a Darice folder of random blocks.   I then blended crushed olive, mowed lawn, peeled paint and forest moss onto the emboss.  I cut it down to match the sketch.  I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder and a stamp from Inkadinkadoo and ran some stripes of washi tape across the bottom.  The flourish is cut with my cricut and the accent essentials cartridge and I dotted my gold gel pen through it.

Lavender monotone ......

So I must have been in a very purple mood this weekend ... seems to be my color of choice.  This card is for both a monotone and sketch challenge.  Grabbing three different shades of violet/purple card stock.  I ran one shade through my cuttlebug with a cuttlebug folder of various shapes/cogs.  I then cut the top shapes with my cricut using Accent Essentials cartridge.  From a lighter shade I cut the strips to work the sketch and ran some faux stitiching along the edge with my gold gel.   The sentiment was stamped with Wilted Violet and a Hampton Arts stamp.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:
