Birthday Blues

It's time for another challenge at
Through the Purple Haze.

This months theme is 
I'VE GOT THE BLUES

my favorite color pallet.

For my card, I started with a piece of white cs scrap and I blended Distress and Oxide inks in the shades of blue.  I then cut that piece into strips.
I used a pale blue cs front piece and set the strips on a diagonal and trimmed the excess over the edge.
The flower was cut from white cs from Penny Black die.
The sentiment was stamped in white embossing powder on the same colored cs as the front panel and cut with a flag die.
I weaved the flower over the sentiment piece and then added clear neuvo drops randomly over the front.  All set on the same pale blue cs base that is side fold.
