splatter 2

In my first attempt of the splatter fun.  I use Tim Holtz Distressed Ink on white card stock in the colors of Wild Honey, Peeled Paint and Broken China.  I smudged and blended them - dried and then splattered water over the blend.
The bees are dimensional stickers from Jolee's Boutique. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz stamp "Saying Stuff' using Memento Tuxedo Black and the black gel pen to stitch the path of the bees.

I would also like to add this one to Less is Morris Splatter Challenge

I think you've splattered brilliantly Dawn and made a super striking card, however it is one layer week at Less is More and I spy another layer. I do hope you'll play along again though. Thanks Sarah (LIM)

What a lovely background effect Dawn. We do have a few Guidelines to help you with what constitutes a one layer card... I noticed Sarah mentioned an additional layer... it's quite tricky to get all the things sorted!
It's great to have you join us and I hope you'll be back again next time!
Thanks again
Chrissie

Another gorgeous background Dawn, though as the other LIM gals say, not strictly one layer
Thank you for joining us at LIM
