Negative fly

                            So, what do you do with the piece of scrap from your image cut?  You make another card of course.  For this one I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday for inspiration.
            This is the negative left over from the dragonfly cut in the card before.   I grabbed a piece of white cs and sponged Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet and glued that behind the cut negative.
           I trimmed it up a bit and ran faux stitches around with a gold gel pen.  I stamped the sentiment with a Hampton Arts stamp and gold embossing powder.
               I added the different color washi tape .

I would like to add this to the following card challenges if I may:

  Sketch Saturday = for the sketch #

Outlawz = ATG

Less is More = Use Washi Tape

Sweet Stampin = For someone special
Kraftin' Kimmie = Things with wings.

Thank you so very much for stopping by and taking a peek.
Have a fantastic day

I love the inks you have used to colour the dragonfly aperture and the washi flags are a great touch! The polka dots look great against the dark card base. Thank you for playing along with us at Less is More this week :)

Such a wonderful impact your card has Dawn! Those banners of washi tape look like medieval flags fluttering in the breeze and they add a real sense of movement to that opulent dragonfly. Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
