The theme on this run is "SUMMER" This is a little tribute to Bugaloo Stamps.  I'm sure going to miss her work.   This is Surfer Dude.  He's everything summer for a guy's summer birthday celebration.  He's colored with Ohuhu markers.  The sentiments are all from MFT Bitty Birthday Sayings and they're stamped in Salvaged Patina Oxide and then heat embossed with clear to give them all dimension.  Blue cs and a lime green base.  I hope you come on by and join in on the fun. Holiday Travel

 This was a quick card to put together.  I started with a stamp from Bugaboo and I colored it with markers.  

 I grabbed a piece of red/white polka dot cs from Simple Stories.  I cut the square hold with MFT square shaker die and frame.  I set the image behind the window and used the red cs frame as well.  I added a pale green bow and then set it all on a red cs base.  The sentiment was cut with a stitched banner die and a larger red one to set behind it.

This Little Piggie went ......

 

This critter is just too cute and headed out on a fun vacation.   This is my team make for Use Your Stuff and the theme is Summer Fun.   Isn't this fun !!!   Oh, how I wish I was headed with. The image is from Bugaloo and I colored it with markers .. Ohuhu I think is what I had at the time.  The background yellow paper is from Recollections.  The background of wee wee wee is framed with cs stamped with a background stamp and white embossing powder from Fiskars.  Lots of die cuts of banners and circles from cs and grabbed the scrap dotted inner circle from another piece.  The sentiment on the bottom is from My Fav Things - YAY for You set.  All on a white slimline base.   I really hope you join us in the challenge at Use Your Stuff.

   'Tis the season for Christmas in July.  There are so many challenges this month with this theme.  So let's start with this one.  It's from Bugaboo and I used markers to color in the image.  The three sentiments are from ArtC 'Holiday Cheer' set.  I used white embossing powder.  The snowflakes are die cut using SSS.  Cut to have a white frame. 

All on a black base.

I printed this because I had space left on my card stock when I was printing the other image.  I thought it was sooooo cute and so summer.  It's from Bugaboo. I used both Tombow and Ohuhu markers on the image.  I used Tumbled Glass distress oxide on the water so I could use water and pull some bubbles. 

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts "Ocean Scene' set and I stamped it with Ranger Black.

       BUGABOO.
I love me some Bugaboo.

My card today follows on the color scheme that seems to have my attention lately.
The image is from Bugaboo - Birthday Bird 01 and I used markers and glitter pens.  I framed it with a piece of pink cs.

I then found this amazing piece of DCWV cs stock that somehow managed to hide in my stash until today.
'Party' was cut with an MFT die out of lime green cs and everything was mounted on a black side fold cs base.  I added orange Neuvo drops in the corner.
Baaaa Daaaa Booom !!

Hello Everyone  -- Time for another challenge at  Try Stampin' or not on Tuesday. For this challenge we have a sketch:

For my card, I started with a Digi from Bugaboo and I used all markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it with black cs.  The background cs is from Recollections and the bottom maroon is just plain cs.  The ribbon I had in my stash as well as that puffy mylar heart.  That sheet is getting a lot of action lately.

TRY STAMPIN' (OR NOT) ON TUESDAY.

The challenge for this round is a this / and or / that.

The image will be below.

From my card, I started with an image by Bugaboo that I used all markers on.  I then cut the frames apart and set them on a scrap piece of black cs.
The orange cs front panel was put through my machine with an embossing folder by .......
The sentiment was edged with mustard seed distress ink.  The image, framed in black, was lifted with dimension tape.
All was placed on a side fold black cs base.

Miss You

Hello, I have a card for USE YOUR STUFF CHALLENGE. The theme for this challenge is a Mood Board.

For my card, I'm using an image from Bugaboo.  I was immediately taken by that cute chocolate lab in the basket.  He so sweet.  I also pulled all of those warm colors and connected that with a piece of card stock from a new pad by Tim Holtz 'Abandoned'.    It is amazing.  The puppy was colored with maker and then again in water color.  Then I blended the edges with Vintage Photo distressed ink.  A burlap flower with a couple of smaller paper flowers and it's all good to go on a side fold kraft cs base.

B Day

Hello ... We are in a new challenge at
Through the Purple Haze

The theme for this month is
FUR-TASTIC.
Animal-friendly.

For my card, I'm using a BEAR image from Bugaboo and I used all color pencils on the image.  I cut the bear using a stitched oval die from MFTs.
The bees were stamped/die cut from another set by MFTs.  The horntooth paper is from recollections and a black ribbon divides the yellow cs with the paper.  The sentiment was cut with a flag die from MFTs and the paper flowers are from recollections.
All was set on a side fold black cs base.

It's time for another challenge at IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE Our theme for this round is Graduation

For my Card, I am using an image by Bugaboo.  I used colored pencils on the image and then used a MFT double stitched oval die to cut her out.  One a white piece of cs I stamped flowers by Fiskars with white embossing powder and I used water colors to fill in the petals and leaves.  I blended Victorian Velvet in the background and edge.  I cut a piece of scrap black and white striped paper to run across the center.
All set on a side fold pink cs base.

Hello everyone, 
They're calling for Spring  at 
Brown Sugar Challenge 

In a blue mood it seems.  The stamp is by Bugaboo and I used both pencils and markers on it.  I cut down and framed the image with a deep blue piece of cs.
I blended Wilted Violet, Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberry, Peeled Paint distress inks and the trimmed that down to frame the frame ;).
The front panel is in a darker shade of blue and the sentiment is stamped with a Hampton Arts stamp with white embossing powder.  I wrapped blue glitter washi tape around the edge and mounted that onto a sky blue cs side fold base.

It's time for the April challenge at

The theme this month is 

S P R I N G.

For my card, I'm using a digi stamp by Bugaboo 'Maggie Moo in the Garden'. I used markers, pencils and a wink of stella on the image.
It's set on a pink cs front that was faux stitched with a white gel pen and has a square of green mini cs from Simple Stories.  I added paper flowers to the corner and then set it all on a side fold lavender cs base.

Hello  Hello
It's another sketch challenge at
Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday.
(see sketch below)

with an optional theme of favorite patterns.

I have to say ... I tend to gravitate to florals and I love a polka dot.  So I used florals in the dry and wet embossing and the swiss dot accent piece.

For my card, I started with a stamp from Bugaboo. and I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I trimmed that down and rounded the corners and mounted it on a coral scrap of cs.
The next layer is stamped with a mandala flower stamp by Hampton Arts.  I stamped it randomly on a white piece of scrap and used white embossing powder.   I then blended Fired Brick, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed distress inks across the piece and rounded those corners as well.
The yellow polka dot printed paper is from Simple Stories and carrying over the rounded corners.
The black cs front panel was dry embossed with a flower folder by Darice.
The sentiment was stamped on a black piece of scrap with white embossing powder and a stamp by Stampendous.
All was set on a rust orange cs, side fold base.  I added clear crystals randomly about to finish it off.

It's a Tag Fest Challenge at
Stinkin' Inkers.

The theme is to create a tag to use on your card or project or just a single tag.

For my card, I'm using an image by Bugaboo colored in both pencils and marker.  It was trimmed down with the top corners rounded.  The tag was cut with my Cricut and then I ran it through my machine with a snowflake embossing folder.  I went around the edge with a gold gel pen with faux stitching. 
Joyful was also cut with my Cricut and then colored with a gold gel pen.  The printed paper is from a Christmas pad by Recollections that was set on a lime green front panel.  This was put on a kelly green cs side fold base.

It's time for the February Challenge at
Through the Purple Haze
The theme this month is
Puppy Love. 

For my card, I chose one of images by Bugaboo.  I used both markers and colored pencils on the image.  I cut a piece of designer paper from Recollections with a wavy edge stitched die by MFT and set that on the edge of the image.  The sentiment was blended with Tattered Rose distress ink and also edge with Fired Brick distress.
The small heard were cut with a Fiskars punch and then covered with glossy accents.
Everything was set on a kraft side fold cs base.

Monkey Business

Hello Everyone,

It's time for another sketch challenge at 

Try Stampin' on Tuesday

(see below for the sketch)

For my card, I started with a digi from Bugaboo and I used distress ink to coloring the monkey and glitter gel pen to color the balloon.
I trimmed it down and clipped the corners round.
The papers used to complete the sketch are from Tim Holtz, Recollections and DCWV and all were in my scrap box.
I set it all on a side fold kraft cs base.
The sentiment was a stamp set I received as a gift and I'm not sure the maker, sorry, but was stamped with Walnut Stain distress ink and lifted with dimension tape.  I added Neuvo drops in cream and orange around the image and it's ready to go.
