Merry & Bright
Hello Everyone ....
There were so many Christmas in July challenges that I had to join as least one.
This card is inspired by the challenge at Jingle Bells which was to use their header as inspiration.
For my card, I started with white cs and the water colored with my water brush: Peacock Feathers, Pumice Stone,Tea Dye, Tumbled Glass and Crushed Olive. I then sprayed Heidi Swapp Clear glitter shine.
I then cut the squares with MFT Square die and frame (I cut the frame from gold cs). I trimmed it down more and then rounded the corners.
The front is cut from grey cs and then I ran that through the machine with a Cuttlebug folder of Snowflakes.
I filled the shake with goodies from Lucy's Cards: Little Things Mix and Ice Cube Mix and gold cs stars that I cut with a Fiskars punch from the same cs as the frame.
The backing paper is from DCWV Twinkle Stack in gunmetal shimmer.
I mounted the shaker section onto the embossed front.
I then cut the reindeer with a die from Hampton Arts from Kraft cs (I first used the coordinating stamp and gold embossing powder but didn't like it) and then added Wink of Stella to make it shine. A teal button and a couple of extra goodies from the shake added around the panel with some Neuve drops in gold and a blue drop of same on the nose. Everything is Merry & Bright.
I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may .... ho ho ho:
