Happy New Year

Hello from the design team  at the Brown Sugar Challenge. The theme this week is  Birthday Celebrations and our sponsor this week is Store

This was fun ... and I used a bunch of materials as well.  I started with the image on white cs.  I used both color pencils and markers to color the graphics.  I used glue and lime green glitter to create the center cabochon on her hat.  I then used lime green Nuvo Drops around the edge of the cabochon to give it some dimension.  Silver Stickles on the posts of her earrings and then Glossy Accents on the green dangle stars.   I then added more Nuvo Drops on the sentiment tag and edged that with Twisted Citron distressed ink.   That was all mounted onto designer glossy paper by DCW and then onto a green card base.

Hello from the design team  at the Brown Sugar Challenge.  The theme this week is Anything Goes and our sponsor this week is Store - http://www.zibbet.com/Rick1949

For this card, I started with the image on white cs where I colored by blending colored pencils.  I cut the image with a nested circle die.  From pale yellow cs I cut the circle frame and then ran that through my CuttleBug with a swiss dot folder.  I adhered this all onto darker yellow cs ... the sentiment was printed on the same cs with the Bees and Flower added from Recollections.
