Smooshin' goin' onnnnnnnnnn ....

Card number four for the evening (I told you I was getting busy) was all challenge inspiration.  Smooshing was the medium of the evening (giving my craft sheet and baby wipes a work out) This time I used lots of water and my watercolors again.  Starting with reds, orange and yellow and like I said lots of water I moved that color like a boss.  Heat set and went in for another dip.  Once that was dry, I went over with like colors and a very very wet brush with my Niji Pearlescent Set of paints.  I love how this came out – cringed at the thought of running it through my Cricut but I did.  I used my Luau cartridge and found a leaf pretty darn close to the one used in the challenge.  I cut three out of the watercolor and then 6 more out of orange card stock.  Stacked and glued to give them some depth and cut the little stems off to make room.  Glue them to a white card base and then I needed the sentiment.    I wanted to heat emboss on dark orange paper which I didn’t have any in my stuff … so I grabbed a bit of white and used my Tim Holtz  Spiced Marmalade Ink and ran the strip of paper over the pad to saturate.  Heat set that and then used my white powder and my Tim Holtz word stamp.  Boom, looks like I’m making a craft room mess tonight … If you’re not making a mess, you’re not having fun.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

Happy Little Stampers: CAS Challenge,  because you brought out the smoosh in me tonight.
Happy Little Stampers: CASE the Designer too.
Die Cut Divas: new technique of Smooshing
Stamplorations: CASEplorations
