First Balloons

This card is for a first of many.   What a pretty little thing.   I started with an ABC embossing folder and then cut the wavy edge with a new die I got for the holiday.
I used the same die to cut the plaid for the interior edge of the card.
I cut the balloons with a Simon Says balloon die.  The number ONE was cut with my cricut and then second cut to give it that darker pink highlight.  I glued them together and topped it with glossy accents to make it look plastic.
I attached the balloons with dimensional squares and tied the bakers twin to the one which was also attached with dimensional squares.
So cute for a first.

Here are a couple of pics from a flat angle and of the inside.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:
Less is More:  New Beginnings (it all starts with "1")
QTR: One for the Kids ATG
Happy Little Stampers: Anything Goes with Dies (the "1", the curvy edge and the Balloons)
Crafty Hazlenut: Must use patterned paper
Crafting Musketeers: Party Time

Ha ha! You are so right Dawn.....things do begin or start with 1! Loving the plaid design with all the white space and I bet the glossy accents look amazing up close. What a super card and a really original take on our theme. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

Like the way you've made your edge a wavy cutaway, it gives a real sense of movement.
Thanks for sharing at HLS. :)
