Happy Banners

Happy Banners for the New Year this my design team card for ...........................
January Challenge "It's a Banner Year"
I started with salmon pink card stock base.  Using a curved stitch die I cut the designer pink flower paper.
With a mini Hampton Arts pennant stamp I stamped a pennant for each letter using Mermaid Lagoon distressed ink.
I grabbed my gold gel pen and wrote each letter by hand and glued them to the curved edges of the base.  I then connected them with the same gel pen with loops and squiggles.
Glittery blue grosgrain ribbon cut to look like long side sitting pennants were added to the top and bottom and then anchored with large blue glitter acrylic dots that I handmade from pony beads.
Faux stitching around the edge with the gold gel pen and then anchored onto a black cs top fold card base.

Happy New Year to all of our Challenge players ... have fun !!!!

I would like to add this to the following challenges if I may:
Cuttlebug Mania = Flowers
Sweet Stamping #2 - Something New
WaterCooler Wednesday - ATG Feminine
Inkspirational: Stamping
One Crazy Stamper: with blue and a ribbon

Hi Dawn, what a pretty New Year's card you've created. Love that curved stitch die and the way you've arranged your banner in the space between the two pieces of designer paper. Such pretty colours, too. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
