Eagle Congrats

My hubby went into my card box for an Eagle card and I was out.  Good grief .. I needed to get busy.  I went with white cs for the base.  The front is navy blue with a white topper. I haven't used this die in a long time and I totally forgot that it was a shaker die and the stitching was on the outside so I had to regroup.  I grabbed a piece of scrap and used all of my red distress inks and smushed them on my worksheet with water and dragged the scrap into the ink.  I set it behind the die-cut windows.  The eagle badge is computer-generated and fussy cut.  The 'congrats' was stamped with a Recollections stamp set.  It was crazy that that was the only one I could find in my stash at this time. I used white embossing powder.   I set it all together with dimension tape.  I think I need to make a couple more for my stock.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may:

Cut it up: Use Red, White, and Blue
CAS Color/Sketch:  the sketch for the week
Krafty Chicks: Occasions
Modsquad - Masculine
Outlaw Saturday - For the boys
Crafty Girls Corner - For the boys
Heart to Heart - for the boys.
Dragonfly Dreams - for the boys

Thank you so much for stopping by
Have an amazing day.

I loved reading about your card making process Dawn - very relatable! Love the finished result too. The smooshed backing to the stars is really effective especially with the stitched edging and they set off the Eagle badge perfectly. Thank you for coming to play at CAS Colours and Sketches this week :)
