Sponged scene

Hello everyone,

This is my Design Team card for the monthly
Technique Challenge at Try Stampin' (or not) on Tuesday.

The challenge technique this month is sponging and you can play along. You can make a scene, just a background or do the edges of your paper.
This is all on one layer.  The inks I used in this are Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade.  Fossilized Amber, Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Broken China and Stormy Sky.
I used black StazOn ink for all the silhouettes.  The stamp set is all by Fiskars and I used a Fiskars circle punch to create the masking.  I used a black top fold base for the card.

We're looking forward to see what you can come up with.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may please:

Through the Craftroom Door: ATG
Watercooler Wednesday: ATG
Creative Knockouts: Flowerpower
The Card Concept: Rustic Blooms  ( Classy //Elegant)

Wishing you all an amazing day and Happy Crafting.

Dawn

Hi Dawn, what a gorgeous card you've created using that sponging technique! Love the colours of the sky. They show off that wonderful moon so beautifully. And, of course, the vivid colours make a wonderful background for the lovely black silhouettes. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

The background is so soft and pretty. The silhouette stands out so well against it.
