Birthday Girl

This a card for a special little girl in my life.

It started as a single layer card.  I ran it through the cuttlebug and it didn't get all the way to the edge like I would  have liked.
After the embossing, I blended my collection of Holtz distress inks all over and then added coordinating sequins in the flower centers.
I stamped the Birthday sentiment (Tim Holtz) onto velum paper with tuxedo black and clear embossing powder and gave it a bit of a tail.  I added the pink polka dot washi tape along the edge to cover that gap of the embossing folder and to cover the adhesive for the banner.  I gave the card a full edge of picked raspberry to pull the cloth tape together.
So much fun for a little girl.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Simon Says: Anything Goes ... featuring Ranger Products
Four Crafty Chicks .... Anything Goes.#292
DL Art = Anything Goes #177

I love how this came out- You made it work, I would have never noticed the embossing did not go all the way unless you told us.
