Peaceful mandela

Hello ...this originalted with a sketch challenge but I sat on this too long and missed it ... it happens ...

I started with a piece of scrap (don't we all LOL) and I blended distress inks in Abandoned Coral, Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean.  I then cut a circle with a circle die out of black card stock.
The other piece is actually a snow flake from circut and I glued that on top of the cut circle.
The glitter strip was the hardest piece I think ... cutting a quarter of the width from a piece of length.  It originally covered the snow flake but it looked way too busy -- I gently pulled it off and cut it to the edge of the die cut.
The sentiment was printed with white embossing powder using a stamp set by Stampalicious.

Thanks for stopping by.
I would like to add this card to the following challenges if I may pretty please.

Sunday Stamps: Pastel colors
Crafty Friends = ATG
Creative Fingers= ATG
QKR Stampede = ATG

Happy Crafting
