Hello I have a new card for the challenge at The Crafters Cafe The theme this round is school related or tea/coffee. and our sponsor for this round is and

For my card, I am using the image by Morgan's Art World and I used all markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it a couple of times.  The background mint dotted cs if from Core'dinations and has a great texture to it.  The scroll work, I have no idea where it came from.  I cleaned my craft room and found it on the bottom of a scrap box that was hiding for a very long time.  I would have to assume that it's a cricut cut from long ago.  The sentiment was edged and blended with cracked pistachio and hickory smoke distressed inks.  All was set on a mink cs side fold base.

Elves at Work

Well hey ... another challenge at Crafters Cafe Challenge the theme for this round Fairies/Mythical creatures   OR   Look for an object in your house to use in your  project The sponsor for the challenge is

For my card, I'm working with Elves at Work and I used markers on the image.  Trimmed it down and edged it with Cracked Pistachio distress ink.  I added a pale blue piece of cs to frame it.  The background piece is from DCWV. I stamped the sentiment with broken china distress ink and topped with clear embossing powder.  I added the puffy gold mylar leaves and heart that was in my stash.

For my card, I am rolling with the theme of I spy 'AQUA' as in the color.  I am using the image Weekend Wanda and I used both markers and colored pencils on the image. I framed her with a bit of aqua cs.   I started with a grey background panel and I added bits of aqua scrap cs from DCWV  (Violet Leaf) then added the image.  The sentiment is colored with markers and then edged with cracked pistachio distress ink.  I added some gold mylar stars and some gold Neuvo Drops and then edged the small area of grey with a gold gel pen in faux stitching.

Fair Lady

Hello everyone It's a new challenge at the Crafter's Cafe THEME Steampunk  OR Ribbon and Lace or sponsor for this challenge is

For my card, I'm using the image,  Fair Lady.   I used all color pencils on the image and then trimmed it down tight.  I framed it with pink cs.  The three layers of cs the lavender, pink and rose were all edged with a Fiskers Lace edge punch.   The sentiment is from MFTs and is stamped in gold embossing powder.   All on a lavender cs side fold base.

For my card, I'm using an image from My Besties,  Wonderland Caterpillar.    I blended all colored pencils on the image.   The background paper is from Recollections and was cut with a Spellbinders postage stamp die.  The image and lavender cs backdrop was cut with a MFT stacked rectangle die set.  The sentiment was stamped with a MFT stamp and Dusty Concord distress ink and clear embossing powder trimmed down tight with ends on an angle.  The butterfly and flowers are dimensional stickers from Recollections.  All mounted on a side fold purple cs base.

For my card, I am using and image by 'All Dressed Up' -- Daddy's Little Helper.    I used all colored pencils on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it with a piece of kraft cs.  The front baby blue panel is a piece of cs from DCWV that has a pretty texture to it.  The printed paper is from Recollections.   The ladybug stickers are from Recollections as well.  I added a few drops of Robin Egg blue Neuvo drops around the ladybugs.    All mounted onto a kraft side fold cs base.

Cameo

Hello Everyone!!

There's a fresh new challenge at

The Crafter's Cafe

The theme for this round is

Girls/Ladies and/or Embossing

and we have two sponsors for this challenge.

For my card, I am using an image from Morgan's Artworld 'Cameo 6'.  I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I then cut the image using a Sizzix scalloped circle stacked die and cut a larger frame in dark brown cs.  I brushed the edges of the image with Vintage Photo distress ink. 
Using brown paper I clear embossed a background stamp and then cut the edge with a fun pair of very old Fiskers scissors.  I'm having fun pulling them from the back of the cabinet.  I then cut another piece of white scrap to give the brown paper a bit of focus.  The background paper is from Core Dimensions.   The sentiment is a wood stamp from Hampton Arts and is stamped in Walnut Stain distress with added clear embossing powder cut down to a flag.  I added rose gold brads to the corners and then mounted the whole piece onto a kraft side fold cs base.  A couple of added blue flowers and cream NeuvoDrops and it's ready to go.

For my card, I'm working with the image "Coffee is my Daytime Wine" . I added the cup of coffee on the side and used a color pencil to blend/fade the color out.  I cut it out with a stacked scalloped die from Sizzix both the image and frame.  The black cs was stamped with a word graphic background stamp and white embossing powder.  The black/white paper is from Recollections (and the last piece I had of that) I added that to a front panel of cs the same as the frame and then again onto a black cs base that is a top fold.

Big Doggie Hugs

New challenge at

I'm going with borders and a little bit of metallic.....
For my card, I'm using QKR Stampede's image 'Doggie Bone' and I used color pencils on the image.  I then blended Cracked Pistachio and Broken China Distress in the background of the image.  I cut a plaid piece of paper from Recollections and a teal piece of card stock to use as frames/borders.
The sentiment is a pale blue cs stamped with silver embossing paper with a MFT clear stamp and cut with a stitched die.
The BIG HUGS was cut with a Simon Says die out of Silver metallic CS. All of this was set on a brown CS front with faux stitching with a white gel pen and then added again to a pale blue side fold cs base.

Hoppy Birthday

Hey Hey Hey it's time for another challenge at

I'm a wee bit late, but hoppy to get my card on the board.

For my card, I'm using I SPY SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH F and an image by 'All Dressed Up' called 'Hop To It'.  I used colored pencils on the image - then fussy cut it.   For the front panel, I blended both Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass distress inks for the sky and water.  I cut the large leaves with my Cricut using the Luau Cartridge out of green cs.  The grass was cut from white card stock that I blended Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, and Mowed Lawn distress inks.  I then used the grassy fields die from My Favorite Things in three layers.   The sentiment was colored with markers and edged with Crushed Olive distress and raised with mounting squares. 

All of this was mounted on to a top fold green cs base.

For my card, I'm working with My Besties and the image is Steam Punk Bunny.

I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.  I trimmed it down and then edged it with Antique Linen distress ink.  The post card is from a pad by DCWV.   The sentiment stamp, from Recollections, is stamped with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and the clear embossing powder.  It's also edged with the Walnut Stain ink.  The hinges are die set from Elizabeth Craft and I cut them from kraft cs.  I then pounced walnut stain on and then dipped it into clear embossing powder to make them shine.  Everything was added to a kraft side fold cs base.

Christmas Presents

Hello Everyone .....  It's time to flip the calendar once again and it's time for a new challenge at   The Crafter's Cafe.  The theme this month is to use Lace or Christmas  The sponsors this month are......  Paper Nest Dolls   and  Creative Bug on the Loose.

For my card, I am using a image from Creative Bug on the Loose called Bear with Presents.

I used marker and glitter gel pens on the image.  Trimmed and framed with red card stock.  The card front is printed paper from a Recollections holiday pad. 
I wrapped dotted red and white ribbon with a bow around the side.  All mounted on a red top fold cs base.
After it was put together, I added neuvo drops for the ornaments in various colors.

Gift Card Envelope

Hello everyone
I have an amazing challenge for you from
The Crafters Cafe Challenge.

This challenge the theme is to make an envelope


The sponsor for this challenge is 
My Stitch in Twine. 


For my card, I'm using  Gingerbread Girl.
I colored her in both marker, colored pencils and glitter gels.
I trimmed is down to the very edge of the digi.
I dry embossed with a basket weave folder and then folded it down to accept the tag with the gift card attached.  I cut the curve at the top with a 1 1/2 inch hole punch.
The tag was blended in a bunch of rainbow colors of distress inks and the 4 U was added by hand.

I added the ribbon to make it easier to pull the tag from the envelope.

For my card, I am working with a Bugaboo Digi: Rock Star.  I used markers on the image.  I framed it with lime green cs.  The background papers are from DCWV.  The stars were cut with my cricut and a fiskars star punch.  I used both clear stones in different sizes, glossy accents and wink of stella on the stars to bling them up.
This was all set on a lime green cs side fold base.

For my card, I am using Party Girl, by Polkadoodles.  I used both colored pencils and markers on the image.
I cut the image down and framed it in both lavender and orange cs.  I the added it to a candy corn cs front panel by Recollections.
The sentiment was edged in Shaded Lilac distress ink and added to the side of the image.  I added Neuvo Drops in lime green, orange and clear to the corners and then added a couple of die cut candy corn that I had in my stash forever.
All mounted onto a black side fold cs base.

Hello everyone
I have an amazing challenge for you from

For my card, I used a digi stamp from Cute as a Button, Ursula.  My intent was to just use the purple but I felt the eels needed their show.  I used both color pencils and markers on the image.
The printed paper is from DCWV and is all glitter.
The image was just down and framed with black card stock and edged in hickory smoke distress ink.  Ursula was then bathed in Wink of Stella to give her as much glitter and shine as the background paper.
I added a white satin ribbon and a black glitter acrylic dot to the corner.
All of this added to a black top fold cs base.

Hello everyone
I have an amazing challenge for you from

For my card, I'm working with Paper Nest Dolls and the digital stamp is Little Witch Elle.  I colored pencils to color the digi stamp.  I trimmed it down and framed it with purple cs.  I then cut a piece of designer paper from the Halloween Pad by Recollections with a spider web design.  I cut a piece of black cs and wrapped some washi tape down the edge.  The sentiment was stamped from Avery Elle and silver embossing powder.  I attached them all together with a purple metal brad and then mounted it all on a side fold black cs base.  Final touch were a few lime green neuvo drops .

Hello everyone
I have an amazing challenge for you from
The Crafters Cafe Challenge.

The theme is THREE OF SOMETHING.

For my card, I'm working with QKR Stampede and the image is Prize Pumpkin.    I colored the image with colored pencils and then trimmed it down and framed it with black cs.  I then cut down a piece of kraft cs and ran that through my machine with a basket weave folder from We are memory Keepers and then I cut the edge with a pair of fancy edge scissors that I've had for a very very long time.  I added brown and white twine around the side.
I cut down a piece of black cs for the front panel and covered that with fall leaves paper and then added the piece to the panel.  Now it was time to add it all on to a kraft side fold cs base.
I added three orange buttons to the front to finish off the theme.
