Make a Wish

Hello Everyone It's time for a fresh challenge at  CREATIVE KNOCKOUTS The Theme for this challenge is  EMBOSSING DELIGHT wet or dry embossing.  Our Sponsor for this challenge is CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

For my card, I am using the sweet image "Kai".  I used both markers and colored pencils on the image and then fussy cut her out.  For the background front panel I blended Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet along with Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire.  I then splattered white acrylic paint that was watered down.  I cut a piece of dark green scrap with a MFT grass die and then I cut out of white a LawnFawn picket fence die.  I stacked those together.  On the background, using a PennyBlack stamp set and silver embossing powder.  I dropped our cute little Kai into the scene, added paper flowers and clear neuvo drops and set that on a dark grey front panel and then onto a black side fold cs base.

Super Cool

It's a cookie challenge at  IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE SUPER HERO DAY

Hello, for my card, the image is from simply cards and I used colored pencils and markers.  The swiss dot red paper is from Simple Stories.  The stamp is from Recollections called Comic Fun and I used white embossing powder on both and covered it twice to really pull it up from the cs.  All set on green cs front with gold gel pen faux stitching around the edge and set on a lime green cs side fold base.

It's time for another challenge at IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE Our theme for this round is Graduation

For my Card, I am using an image by Bugaboo.  I used colored pencils on the image and then used a MFT double stitched oval die to cut her out.  One a white piece of cs I stamped flowers by Fiskars with white embossing powder and I used water colors to fill in the petals and leaves.  I blended Victorian Velvet in the background and edge.  I cut a piece of scrap black and white striped paper to run across the center.
All set on a side fold pink cs base.

tied up

It's a new challenge at 

Stinkin' Inkers

the theme this month is 'TIED UP' and you are to use twine, ribbon or string.

For my card, I started with brown cs and I ran it through with a Darice folder with a 'gears' folder.  I then rubbed some green and yellow oxide inks over to bring out the embossing.
I cut that piece on a diagonal and backed it with a colorful plaid piece of scrap from DCWV.
I then punched holes down the edge of both sides of the cut and laced some brown and white bakers twine and tied it in a bow on top.
The sentiment was stamped with a rubber set ftom Hampton Arts and I used clear embossing powder over the sentiment to set it give it just a wee bit of texture.   I cut the sentiment with a stacked stitched oval set and raised it with dimensional tape.
I added a couple of drops of neuvo in cream and then set the whole piece on a side fold kraft cs base.

Another challenge at

This month the theme is 

BIRTHDAYS

I am using the image 'Butterflies in Reeds' where I used colored pencils on the image.
I blended Tumbled Glass oxide ink in the background with a brush and framed it with black cs.  The front panel is pale blue card stock from MFT and the striped paper is from Recollections.
The sentiment was colored with pencils as well and fussy cut and added with dimensional tape. I added gold mylar circles to the corners and mounted everything onto a black cs top fold base.

Scribble Flowers

It's another challenge at  Creative Knockouts The theme this round is  Friendship our sponsor this round is

For my card, I started with the image Scribbled Floral and I used all colored pencils on the image.  I trimmed it down and framed it in a pale pink cs. I set that on an offset darker frame and then trimmed the overhang.   The pink plaid cs is from DCWV.  The sentiment was stamped in Walnut Stain and clear embossing powder.  I added the satin ribbon and bow and the paper flowers and neuvo drops and everything was set on the dark pink side cs fold base.

Its another challenge at  If you Give a Crafter a Cookie here is the cookie theme for this round

For my card, I stared with a 'MOM' die from Simon Says and I cut that in pink and white cs.  I then grabbed a piece of white cs and I stamped flowers from Fiskars and I hand painted them with distress inks.  I then blended yellow oxide ink on the white cs starting at the edges and pulling the ink into the center.   I used a punch from Fiskars to ruffle cut the boxes out.  I then backed the punches with pink cs that was stamped with a background text stamp and white embossing powder.
I added the pink satin ribbon across the center, attached the die cut and added paper flowers and then set it all on the yellow side fold cs base.

Birthday Blues

It's time for another challenge at
Through the Purple Haze.

This months theme is 
I'VE GOT THE BLUES

my favorite color pallet.

For my card, I started with a piece of white cs scrap and I blended Distress and Oxide inks in the shades of blue.  I then cut that piece into strips.
I used a pale blue cs front piece and set the strips on a diagonal and trimmed the excess over the edge.
The flower was cut from white cs from Penny Black die.
The sentiment was stamped in white embossing powder on the same colored cs as the front panel and cut with a flag die.
I weaved the flower over the sentiment piece and then added clear neuvo drops randomly over the front.  All set on the same pale blue cs base that is side fold.

Birthday Wishes

It's challenge time at  Crafts Galore Encore  as usual is ATG this months sponsor is

For my card, I started with the image:  Nature's Little Treasures and I used all colored pencils. 
I trimmed it down and framed it in both pink and white cs.  The sentiment was stamped on the same pink cs using white embossing powder and a stamp set from My Favorite Things and raised with dimensional tape. 
I set it on a piece of cs from DCWV with the pink on pink flowers.  This was set on a piece of cs top fold base.  I added a couple of paper flowers in the same shade as the flowers in the image.
